Susanna Bertuletti Bio

Susanna Bertuletti is a chemist specializing in chirality, asymmetric synthesis, biocatalysis, and crystallization. She obtained her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences in Milan, developing stereoselective biocatalytic approaches to pharmaceutically relevant compounds. She then moved to the Netherlands, where she worked on an industrial collaboration at the University of Amsterdam and subsequently at the biotech startup Sapreme Technologies. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at AMOLF, where she first investigated enantiomeric resolution using chiral optical forces within the CHIRALFORCE project. Her research now focuses on rapid crystallization-induced deracemization and the isolation of enantiopure APIs within the ERC Proof of Concept project Chiral-Morphs.
