Qi Jiang
Dr. Qi Jiang earned a B.S. in Chemistry and M.S. in Physical Chemistry at Nanjing University, China. After receiving a second M.S. in Chemistry at Rutgers University, he got Ph.D. in Chemistry at New York University (NYU) with advisor of Prof. Mike Ward. He spent more than 9 years at Material & Analytical Science (MAS) of Boehringer Ingelheim (BI). Currently, he is a Senior Principal Scientist at Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) of Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS). Dr. Jiang has long time experience in pharmaceutical, chemistry and materials science. His research focuses on pharmaceutical crystallization, solid form selection, evaluation and determination, including polymorphism, salt/cocrystal, and amorphous solid dispersion. He also works on process development of crystallization and scale up support, including process design, optimization and technical transfer. Dr. Jiang has extensive experience of solid-state characterization with expertise of advanced X-ray diffraction and X-ray crystallography.
