Andrew Kelly

I attended the College of William and Mary, where I obtained my B.S. working in the lab of Prof. Robert Pike. I worked on developing new Bi, Cu, and La coordination complexes. In 2017, I moved to Georgetown University to join the lab of Prof. Travis Holman, where I am pursuing my interest in organometallic and supramolecular chemistry. I am studying cyclopentadienyl ruthenium arene sandwich complexes and their applications for halogen bonding, catalysis, and synthesis. I was awarded an Espenscheild Fellowship in 2017 and an Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS) fellowship in 2019.
